Sunday, March 4 at 6:30 PM. Star Party with Astronomer Dennis Mammana. This month's topic;
"THE ILLUSION OF NOW"
The cosmos is a powerful illusion; nothing is as it appears. Tonight you will discover how all that we see in the sky above us appears not as it is "now" but as it was long ago, and how peering farther into space allows us to see back into time.
Call or visit the RV desk to sign up for the Star Party - $20 per person includes a light dinner and telescope viewing (weather permitting)

Featured Artist:
Alicia Wszelaki
Borregan Alicia Wszelaki is a graphic artist and designer, filmmaker, and also an amazing photographer. She has graciously allowed us to display some of her photography in this month's issue.
Alicia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to us. She holds an Associate Degree in Photography from Grossmont College and a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from San Diego State University.
Alicia and her husband Matt have been making films together for around 10 years now. Almost four years ago they cemented their relationship with Borrego Springs by having their wedding at a local venue and buying a home here as well.
Alicia and Matt are integral parts of the Borrego Springs Film Festival, providing technical and film making knowledge that is critical to its success.
Alicia has done incredible photography all over the world. We picked a few of her Borrego-flavored shots for our exhibition. We hope you enjoy her work as much as we do!
