Helen White, a member of Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields and a leader in the Diocese and at Cathedral Village, passed away on January 11th. Funeral arrangements will be made and announced on the church's website.
In recognition of her ministry, Helen was one of two recipients of the Bishop's Medal at Convention in November 2017. As part of the Diocesan History Committee, she coordinated the preparation and publication of Spanning Four Centuries: Pages of Parish Histories of the Episcopal Diocese of Pennsylvania, an invaluable resource not only for those who attended that General Convention in 1997 but also for anyone interested in the history of the Diocese.
She is survived by her children George, Gregory and John. We also keep in our prayers all those who have worked in ministry and studied the Bible with Helen at St. Martin-in-the-Fields and across the Diocese.
Rest eternal grant to her, and let light perpetual shine upon her.
