Jewelry Creations Supports Local Non-Profit
Jewelry Creations recently presented a check in the amount of $2,000 to Amy's Treat, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing solutions to the day-to-day difficulties of living with cancer and offers unexpected "treats" to renew the spirits of those battling the disease.
Since losing her father to cancer in 2010, Jewelry Creations owner, Kelly Glennon, has pledged her commitment to support organizations that fund cancer research and those that provide care for the individuals and families affected. In honor of her late father and to increase awareness of pancreatic cancer, Jewelry Creations donated a pair of amethyst and diamond earrings valued at $1,000. Community members were encouraged to buy raffle tickets for a chance to win; with one-hundred percent of the proceeds going to Amy's Treat. The support from the community was incredible and, with a matching donation from Jewelry Creations, the store presented a $2,000 check to Amy's Treat Board Member, Candace Fennessy.
