Greetings, FPA Members & Colleagues:

We are pleased to announce that our next Journal of Financial Planning Discussion Group is set for Wednesday, February 7th, and will be moderated by our Chapter's Chairman and Director of Programs & Sponsorships, Mike Parry.

The Journal of Financial Planning  is the best publication in our industry to learn about new and updated techniques in financial planning. The articles range from simple to extremely complex and warrant peer discussion after reading. A ll FPA members receive a free subscription to the Journal as a benefit for belonging to the association. (Click here to view the digital edition of the journal.)

The goal of the JFP Discussion Group is to enhance understanding of content in the Journal, discuss how we may implement planning thoughts in our own businesses, and have some fun and stimulating conversation.

UPDATE: Here are the articles published in the Journal's January issue that will be discussed:
4 Listening Skills That Will Boost Your Bottom Line - page 24
How Nobel Laureate Richard Thaler's Work Impacts Financial Planning - page 40

If you would like to participate, please email your RSVP to our Chapter Executive Lori Somerville at [email protected] by Monday, February 5th.

I sincerely hope you will join us on February 7th.

Thank you,

Derrek L. Metz, CRCP
