"...you are not alone. As I travel throughout the nation, I find most dentists have many questions about this screening device."
What is High Resolution Pulse Oximetry?
What Pulse Ox should I use? WHY?
Who should I dispense to? WHY?
How does HRPO screening impact the effectiveness of OAT?
What analysis software should I use? WHY?
How do I use the analysis software?
How do I interpret these reports?
How can I use this as a tool to increase production?
High Resolution Pulse Oximetry is a convenient, and non-invasive way to screen a patient's pulse rate and oxygen saturation levels. The information provided from this screening can assist you in evaluating a number of sleep related breathing disorders, including OSA, Hypoventilation Syndrome and Cheyne Stokes Respiration.

Thousands of dentists are missing an ideal opportunity to help their patients sleep better and live fuller, healthier lives, while adding an ideal revenue stream to their practices by properly using and fully understanding the benefits of the screenings provided by High Resolution Pulse Oximetry.
Join me for a single day on February 16, 2018
and leave with the
confidence that you can use HRPO effectively and productively. This course is limited to just 20 dentists and will fill up quickly.
No hype. Nothing to sell you - just an incredible learning experience.

Supine body orientation plays an important role in precipitating upper airway collapse in a significant proportion of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) patients known to have supine-predominant OSA (OSAsup). Traditionally, trunk position is used to assess OSAsup, but the role of the head position has not been established. We hypothesized that head position influences OSA independently of trunk position.

Recent attention of the magnitude of the global epidemic of obesity warrants new approaches to health promotion, including expanded attention to obesity prevention by all health professions and disciplines. Focusing on the signs and symptoms of obesity beyond body mass index (BMI) represents a health promotion approach with potential to prevent disease-related consequences by facilitating early screening and diagnosis. Such an approach may require new or slightly modified roles for existing healthcare professionals who are in regular contact with patients. While disease diagnoses are traditionally driven by...

You are invited: Chicago SFOT Lecture
The New Frontier in Interdisciplinary Dentofacial Therapy Course
 Join
Drs Brian Vence, George Mandelaris and Rick Roblee in Chicago for
for a two-day course to discuss the biology and benefits of implementing SFOT in advanced interdisciplinary therapy from a surgical, orthodontic and restorative perspective.
Specialists are encouraged to bring their interdisciplinary team to this course.
When:
Friday, April 13 to Saturday, April 14, 2018
Where: Medinah Country Club, Medinah, IL
Patients that want more ideal facial esthetics and stomatognathic function, may choose to have the interdisciplinary team utilize SFOT to alter the dentoalveolar bone and optimally position the roots of the teeth within the face. Space may be appropriated to enable the restorative dentist to create natural tooth size and morphology in the worn, eroded or otherwise altered dentition. Surgical, orthodontic and restorative perspectives will be presented to challenge the team to move beyond traditional interdisciplinary therapies into a new frontier for enhanced outcomes.
