SPECIAL NOTICES

~ New and Ongoing! ~
Listings of Parish Services and Other Events
May now be listed directly on the diocesan website (see note below for how to list them), where they may be found on the home page and by
Clicking here.
These events will no longer be listed directly in Events & More.

Please note that clergy in charge of parishes and parish offices were sent instructions on how to enter upcoming events and services. If you did not receive them, please click here - but please make sure you are not duplicating any efforts made by your parish colleagues by conferring with them and checking the existing listings. Going forward, we will not be publishing parish events in "Events & More" in the way we have in the past. Instead, parishes will list their own events directly on the diocesan website.
Don't forget to check...

Office Space Wanted
In or close to New York City
The Fellowship of Reconciliation is an interfaith and international movement with branches and affiliated groups in over 50 countries. FOR was founded in Cambridge, England in December 1914, and the US branch was founded in Garden City, Long Island, New York in 1915. The US branch, organized as a New York not-for-profit corporation, is moving from its headquarters in Nyack, New York and is seeking a new space to rent, preferably on a church property, in or closer to New York City.
We are looking for a space that can function as an administrative center with 2 to 3 employees. It can be configured as one open space or multiple smaller offices. We would appreciate the right to use a conference room or parish hall or other similar space for periodic meetings with visitors to organize, say, UN conferences. Last month, for instance, FOR organized a first of its kind UN conference entitled Ethics of Reciprocity.
(In the fullness of time, we may seek to expand the office space and may seek permission to build out the space for basic lodging. A space with this potential would be ideal, but not a deal-breaker, especially since this is something for down the road at best.)
