Our Commitment Sunday worship service provides a way for families and individuals to provide the church with helpful guidance for budgeting and ministry investment during 2018. Commitment cards will be in your worship folder this Sunday and on the 14th. The card is also available online to print out and submit on our Finance webpage.

Women's Winter Bible Studies & Small Groups

Registration is still open for our women's winter/spring Anchor groups, Bible studies, and special studies, which begin this week. Please see the Women's Ministries page of our website for details and registration. Click on "Women's Bible Studies" or the "Anchor" links on the right margin for more information. We'd love to have you try something new, or join in where you have already found community, fellowship and encouragement in the Scripture!

January Special Offering

Our special offering this month will go to the Bishop Daniel Payne Scholarship for African American students at RTS who are studying to become PCA pastors or for African Americans on staff with Campus Outreach who are pursuing a seminary degree. Discovery Class

Women's Beach Getaway

April 20-22, 2018
The Women's Ministry is hosting a wonderful weekend of fellowship and encouragement on April 20-22 at the Ocean Crest Motel in Oak Island, NC. For more information and to register, CLICK HERE.

Seek the City Student Registration

opens February 4 at 8 PM

Seek the City 2018 will be June 27-22. This is our local mission week for MS and HS students. Registration opens at 8 PM on Sunday, February 4. P lan to register early as this mission opportunity fills up quickly!

Covenant Day School (CDS)

For more information about Covenant Day School, a ministry of Christ Covenant Church, please go to the CDS website.

Roper Scholarship

Covenant Day School is accepting applications for its Roper scholarship, which covers up to 80% of a student's annual tuition. This scholarship is available only to Christ Covenant Church member families considering enrolling a new student for the 2018-2019 school year, who would also qualify for financial assistance. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is January 15, 2018. Please contact the CDS Admissions office at 704-847-2385 for more information or to pick up an application. Judge Brent McKnight Memorial Oratory Contest

Monday, January 22 | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

The Justice and Mercy Oratory Contest in honor of Judge H. Brent McKnight will be held on Monday, January 22 at 7:00 PM. in the lower level of the CLC in the youth auditorium. In this annual competition, CDS seniors are given a prompt and are required to write and deliver a speech. You are invited to come and support these high school seniors.

ProjectSHARE January Collection:

Lily Pad Haven

Lily Pad Haven is a nonprofit organization that provides housing for survivors of human trafficking. They have a network of safe houses which can each house up to two guests. The guests are referred by government and non-government organizations that work with victims of human trafficking. Items can be dropped off at the Information Desk any Sunday in January. Please see our ProjectSHARE webpage for more information including the list of items that we are collecting.

RTS Lecture Series

Rosaria Butterfield: Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert

February 20 | 10 AM

You are invited to attend a special event hosted by RTS on our campus. As part of their Harold O J Brown Lecture Series, they have invited Rosaria Butterfield to speak on Tuesday, February 20th. This event is meant to equip the church as they address the culture in a relevant and gospel centered manner. Please see RTS's promotion of this event on their website.

This lecture will be held at Christ Covenant Church. Tickets are $12.00. Register HERE.

Missionaries of the Week: Sunday, January 14

Steffen & Elizabeth Mueller (Munich, Germany)

The Muellers have planted a gospel-centered church in Munich. Pray that they will be able to buy a place to live in or near Munich. Pray for Steffen as he has to take on more responsibility while the Goodwins are on home assignment. Pray for the girls to grow in their love for and knowledge of the Lord.
