Happy Thanksgiving Week from All of Us at Holistic Caring!

Thanksgiving is a reminder to be grateful by appreciating the simple things, staying optimistic, and counting our blessings.  Gratitude inspires us, improves mental and physical health, and helps us sleep. Last year I gave thanks for my endocannabinoid system & better sleep. Check it out;   Nov 2017

Americans are challenged to find gratitude and calm with firestorms on the earth and in the airwaves. Coping with daily demands and the relentless chaos of the world can trigger a doctor appointment! Instead of pharmaceuticals, I reach for a high CBD tincture to downshift that stress response. CBD in particular activates Serotonin which helps me remain calm and avoid depression. Cannabinoid receptors are more prevalent than any other in the body and these balance my neuroendocrine system naturally by enhancing my own physiology.  Cannabis molecules are like master keys, interacting with locks, or receptors all over the body. Cannabinoids help us maintain homeostasis or balance in all systems, keeping us healthy, or repairing damage;   CBD = Preventive Medicine

Health and wholeness are really a package deal. CBD & cannabinoids as supplements are only part of the solution. A holistic approach to nutrition, exercise, movement, spirituality, connection, boundaries, and healthy activities needs to be a lifestyle. Holistic Caring can help you structure an integrative treatment plan that puts it all together in a way that gets results. If you’d like to consult with one of our nurse coaches, make an appointment to start 2019 right. We offer 1:1 sessions by phone, skype, or in person.  Book an appointment here;  Services or call us at 619-880-5135 to schedule.

Stay tuned for updates on our CE education for nurses and other medical professionals which will launch in January. Another innovation to come will be group medical appointments - coaching people through cannabis medicine in small groups. We will focus on specific conditions like treating cancer, chronic pain, neurological & auto-immune issues, and geriatric medicine in more efficient and effective pathways to care.

Travel safely this holiday season, and enjoy your special meal with gratitude this year. We give thanks for each one of our clients, our staff, and partners, and we appreciate being on your healing journey. God bless you!
