AHTD Installs New Board of Directors

October 2017 - AHTD installed a new board of directors during the annual business meeting at the Fall Meeting in October 2017. The meeting was held at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC.
 
Outgoing President Tom Swenton of Applied Automation in Syracuse, NY, handed over the reins to newly elected president, Brian Lepsis of Shingle and Gibb, Moorestown, NJ. Swenton had served on the board for 14 years.   Click here to read the full article.
2018: 1st Quarter Economic Report from ITR Economics

Prepare for positive momentum in the US economy in 2018. US Industrial Production during the 12 months through November was up 1.6% from last year. Leading indicator evidence suggests that US Industrial Production will accelerate upward through the first half of 2018. Ongoing rise in the ITR Leading Indicatorâ„¢ and the US Leading Indicator bodes well for accelerating rise through at least mid-2018. Tentative decline in the PMI portends a possible mid-2018 transition to slowing growth in the general economy. Furthermore, business-to-business activity is poised to grow at a slowing pace in the second half of 2018. US Corporate Profits for Domestic Nonfinancial Industries, a 10-month leading indicator, transitioned to a tentative slowing growth trend (quarterly data). Click here to read the full article. An Analysis of Financial Performance in Distribution 2016
