DEVELOPMENT CODE 6 MONTH UPDATE-Community Meeting 1
The Development Code has been in effect since September 15th, 2017. In practice City Staff has found elements and prescribed requirements that need refining to better and more efficiently apply the code. Any changes to the Code, even those as small as proper sentence structure and grammar, must be vetted and be presented to the public in Community Meetings before being voted on by Planning Commission and Mayor and City Council.

In addition there are several parcels within the City that were misidentified during the Zoning Map process. The Zoning District assignment of these parcels will be rectified during the update process. These are City initiated rezonings to correct these errors. Find a map of the location of these parcels, further discussion of the 6 month update and a list of future meeting dates HERE

City Staff will present proposed changes and discuss what these changes mean within the context of how the Code is applied. Attend this meeting if you have questions or concerns.

When:  Wednesday February 7th at 6:00 PM
Where: City Hall - 7840 Roswell Rd, Bldg 500, Sandy Springs 30350
