University Avenue Redesign Survey
The postcard with the University Avenue Redesign survey has been mailed out to residents. Each postcard will have a specific access code to take the survey per address. The code will allow for you to take the survey twice. The image below is a sample of what the postcard looks like. The survey deadline is January 31st. Ballfield Rental Opens January 15th
It's time to start thinking baseball and softball. The rental period for the ball field at Colby Park opens on January 15th. Visit the city website at http://www.windsorheights.org/358/Ball-Field-Rentals to learn how you can reserve the Windsor Heights Field for your team practices! 2018 Pet License
It's time to register your pets for 2018. All pet owners must register their animals between January 1st through March 31st. A copy of your pet's current rabies certificate is required for a new or renewal license. The fee for a neutered animals is $20. The fee for a non-neutered animals is $30. Pet Licenses are available at the Windsor Heights Public Safety Building located at 1133 66th Street. The 2018 Pet License Application is available on the Windsor Heights website at http://www.windsorheights.org/DocumentCenter/View/412. Snow Ordinance Reminder
Just a friendly reminder when it snows. Please remove your cars from the streets. That way the plows can clear your streets better. City Code 60.10.10 states that it is unlawful to park on any public streets during the time of accumulating snowfall and within the 24 hours following the end of the any snow event. Any vehicle parked on the street during a snowfall and within 24 hours after faces the possibility of receiving a $25 fine and tow. The snow ordinance automatically goes into effect when snow begins to fall.
