Kicking Off 2018

Team Krekorian is starting the new year refreshed from a holiday season full of gratitude and generosity, while closing out 2017 as "the year of standing up for Angelenos."

I'm thrilled about all the work we are doing to improve our neighborhoods and tackle our city's challenges. Together, we will continue to strive to cultivate a strong, supportive community that includes and embraces all Angelenos.

With my upcoming Town Hall on Homelessness, and many community meetings, walks, hikes and lunches on the horizon, 2018 is set to be a another year of improving our communities, ensuring the delivery of neighborhood services and making the Los Angeles an even better place for all of us to live and work.

I look forward to everything 2018 has in store for our city and our San Fernando Valley. Most of all, I'm excited to partner with you to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

Very truly yours,
Paul Krekorian

Cilantro Mexican Grill: NoHo's Hidden Gem

NORTH HOLLYWOOD - Tucked away inside the Chervon gas station on Whitsett Avenue and Sherman Way is one of LA's best places to get a burrito, Cilantro Mexican Grill.

Cilantro's location isn't the only unique thing about this tasty local business. The community-minded, quick-service Mexican restaurant was started by chef Adolfo Perez, a  Le Cordon Bleu graduate of the culinary arts, who spent years running corporate kitchens before opening his own restaurant.

Chef Perez and his team of energetic staff take great pride in Cilantro's now famous carne asada and surf and turf burritos, along with the rest of their impressive Mexican fare.

Earlier this week, Councilmember Krekorian stopped by Cilantro to congratulate Perez and this team on their innovative approach to Mexican food and for bringing another great business to the East Valley community.

Cilantro Mexican Grill is located at 7214 Whitsett Ave in North Hollywood. To check out their menu, visit www.cilantromexican.com
