Some of our kids in foster care have participated at the MRC and loved it.

Thank you to our hometown grocer

When lagging donations made it look like we might not be able to give our foster kids bikes for Christmas, Kroger stepped up to make it happen.

We distributed more than 200 bikes to foster kids in Hamilton County this year.

Kroger Co., which annually makes a donation and transports the bikes, came forward with a much bigger donation this year to ensure Southwest Ohio children received bikes, said Kate Koch, founder of Bike Lady Inc. Koch's charity collects donations to buy the bikes, which are assembled by inmates in Ohio prisons and then distributed to children's services agencies.

We appreciate Kroger for helping us deliver happy holidays to our kids in care.
Annual adoption party brings out Bengals

Our kids (OK, maybe us adults too) just love meeting the Bengals players who stop by our holiday party.

This year, the Bengals and Marvin Lewis Community Foundation really brought it with great merchandise and rookies who were willing to interact with the kids, sign autographs and pose for dozens of photos.

Say what you might about the team's field performance, but these players were kind, friendly, polite and genuine. They made our kids' night.

And we can't give enough shout-outs to Chubb Insurance, Fifth Third Bank and First Financial Bank. They supported the party with financial contributions as well as by buying gifts for our kids.
