Fresno State Football Visits Valley Children's

On December 18, the Fresno State football team visited Valley Children's. Coach Tedford and his team visited units and clinics across the Hospital. The team brought special footballs for our patients to enjoy and a special jersey for President & CEO Todd Suntrapak. Thank you to Fresno State, Coach Tedford and the entire team for thinking of Valley Children's! Glad you came to visit!

| Isnardi Foundation Makes $100,000 Gift |

The Isnardi Foundation made a generous donation of $100,000 in support of the Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program Endowment at Valley Children's. The Isnardi Foundation, a charitable organization located here in Fresno, has previously supported the Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program in 2014 and 2016.
In 2006, Vincent Isnardi created the Isnardi Foundation, which was his way of continuing to support those in need in the Fresno and surrounding area. Since the inception of the Foundation, many organizations have benefited from Vincent's generosity, including Valley Children's Childhood Cancer Survivorship Program.
We are so grateful for the Isnardi Foundation's ongoing support!

Touchdown Challenge Raises Over $68,000
|
|
The second annual Derek Carr Touchdown Challenge has come to a close. With 22 season touchdowns and 31 members, this year's challenge raised $68,200 for the children at Valley Children's Hospital. We are so grateful to all of our members for their participation and support. A special thank you to Derek for his generosity and advocacy on behalf of Valley Children's.

Raider Nation and Fresno State fans, here's your opportunity to hear from your favorite quarterback, Derek Carr, and his brother, NFL Network analyst and coach David Carr!
Derek and David will host "Inside the Huddle" on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Saroyan Theatre in Fresno. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m.
ABC30 Sports Director Tommy Tran will emcee "Inside the Huddle" and interview Derek and David. Fans will get a chance to hear the brothers break down and analyze the top 5 plays for the Raiders' 2017 season. Nowhere else will you get this behind-the-scenes look LIVE from Derek. The pair will also answer audience questions.
The evening will conclude with a drawing - raffle tickets will be given to every guest who attends. Derek will call up four lucky guests to receive signed #4 jerseys.
This will be a memorable event for football fans and all ticket sales from the event benefit Valley Children's Healthcare.

Derrel's Mini Storage Donates $38,457
|
Over 50 Derrel's Mini Storage locations across the Central Valley annually support Valley Children's. For every new storage unit rented, Derrel's Mini Storage donates $1 to support the patients and families we serve. This year, that resulted in a donation of $38,457.
Since 1986, Derrel's Mini Storage has donated nearly $937,000 in support of Valley Children's. Thank you to Derrel's Mini Storage for their generous ongoing support and to all those who rented a storage unit during the last year!

Rope for Kids Event Reaches Milestone

|
Thank you to all those that participated in this year's 15th annual Rope for Kids and Sort for Kids. We are thrilled to be the beneficiary of this incredible event. This year, over $6,500 was raised to support Valley Children's.
This year also marked a milestone for Rope for Kids as their lifetime giving reach an amazing $100,000!
We are so grateful for the continued support of Randy Pennebaker, the Pennebaker family and their team for their ongoing generosity. Thank you to everyone who has supported this event.
