Pearl Ochoa never thought she would live in total darkness. Yet, after more than two decades of eye infections, inflammation and surgeries, she lost her vision. She found hope at Society for the Blind.

More than 3 million people in the U.S. have glaucoma, and that is expected to rise by 58% by 2030, according to the Glaucoma Research Foundation.

Society Places 7th in Fitness Challenge 

Society finished 7th in the National Fitness Challenge out of 13 groups across the nation that competed in the United States Association of Blind Athletes' and Anthem Blue Cross Foundation's event.
