Assistance League® of Southeastern Michigan
Hosting Local Book Drive
Looking for a great way to help make a difference for children in our community?  Donate NEW books to Assistance League of Southeastern Michigan's Book Drive from January 15th - February 28th.  In an effort to help encourage children to read, national Assistance League and its many chapters (22,000+ members nationwide) will be participating in this year's Children's Literacy program.

In the past eight years, the Book Drive has been a success nationally and in Michigan with the Southeastern Michigan chapter collecting over 25,000 books.  The books were distributed to children through the chapter's philanthropic programs: Operation School Bell® , Wee Help, One-2-One Tutoring; and to local school libraries, pediatric clinics, Boys & Girls Clubs, Neighborhood  House, and The Children's Center.

A book drop box will be available in the downtown Rochester area at the ReSale Connection (204 S. Main).

For more information, please contact Barb Roller at ReSale Connection, 248-656-0414.
