AZACS High School Start Up Grant

On January 29, the Arizona Department of Education approved competitive start up grants for 14 new charter schools.

Among them: Arizona Autism Charter High School!

With these funds, school leaders plan to grow the school by two grade levels next school year, starting with 20 additional students in 9th and 10th grade in the 2018-19 school year. Congratulations to the leadership team for their hard work and success in acquiring another start-up grant for the third phase of AZACS!

Stay tuned for news on open enrollment for these grade levels!

Staff Spotlight

Mariah (Pope) Reid is one of our BCBA candidates working on her supervision and coursework assignments on-site.  She has been working diligently with Dr. Adam Hahs and the Functional Academic Program to ensure that PEAK Relational Training, a form of ABA programming, is being used consistently and with fidelity.

We have seen tremendous growth with our students because of her initiatives. We invite families and visitors to check out our bulletin boards that display this fantastic data!
