Association Update
From Hans Craen, AFRA Executive Director
Dear All,

On behalf of the AFRA secretariat, I want to wish you all a healthy and prosperous 2018! 2017 has been a very interesting year for AFRA and we will continue on the same path for the year ahead of us. This newsletter will be one of the ways to keep you informed on the activities of AFRA as well as providing updates on topics of general interest to our industry.

In particular, we will use this newsletter to inform you on the current discussions in the European Union on circular economy and waste management which will give AFRA the opportunity to position itself in a proactive and constructive way. In parallel, we will continue to work on the BMP and the accreditation programme which are our flagships in showcasing an industry that is taking up its responsibility to continuously improve end-of-life management of aircraft.

On behalf of the secretariat, we are looking forward to continued collaboration with AFRA members in 2018 as well with the wider network of stakeholders to further promote the interests of the industry.

Best regards,

Hans Craen
