They're here! It's the annual Squeezebox Texas Tour featuring Mollie B, Ted Lange, Dana Linblad, and a new member -
guitar player Joe Poper. The four-piece band will provide
a fuller sound, bigger repertoire, three-part vocal, and harmonies. Additionally, you will enjoy another vocal soloist, guitar solos, and a big Polish-Canadian smile. Joe had his own polka band for 30+ years in Canada. He has performed with John Gora for multiple years. His first performance with SqueezeBox was in November 2015. The group starts in Hallettsville Saturday night (sorry, this one is sold out), heads to Houston on Sunday, then travels to the Valley to play for the snowbirds during the week.
Several dance clubs have dances this weekend: PoLK of A has its annual installation of officers and royalty member meeting and public dance on Sunday at American Legion in Sealy with Incredible Music Makers...Goodtime Polka & Waltz Club in New Braunfels will host the Littl' Fishermen on Sunday...Happy Cousins Dance Club in Rosenberg will have the New Texas Plainsmen on stage Saturday night.

Houston Saengerbund will present its 3rd Annual German Vocal Competition, The Saengerbund Awards
