Want to Win a GRAMMY? Apply Now for the GRAMMY Music Educator Award

For every performer who makes it to the GRAMMY stage, there was at least one teacher who played a critical role in getting them there.  The GRAMMY Music Educator Award was established five years ago to recognize and celebrate the affirming role that music teachers play in the lives of their students.

Applications and nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 GRAMMY Music Educator Awards. Current, full-time educators  who teach music in public or private schools (kindergarten through college) are eligible to be considered for the award. Teachers who are planning to retire at the end of the current school year are not eligible. Personal applications must be submitted by March 31, 2018.  Nominations submitted on behalf of a colleague must be submitted by March 15, 2018. Learn more...

See Tracks? Think Train.  Help us Promote Rail Safety in Palm Beach County

As you are likely aware, Brightline trains are now traveling throughout Palm Beach County.

Motorists and pedestrians - including students walking/biking to and from schools - should practice safety and use caution when approaching railroad crossings.

The District plays a critical role in educating families and children about railway safety.  Please take a few moments to review the safety tips in the photo above with your students, and  click here to access additional safety resources.
