BID Continues to Advocate for Increased City Resources to Address Homelessness in the Fashion District

On December 4, 2017 the Department of Sanitation cleaned a homeless encampment on 17th Street between San Pedro and Griffin Streets. For six weeks, the BID called the City daily to report conditions on 17th Street.

The department cleaned and sanitized sidewalks, and picked up bulky items and trash totaling approximately three tons.
