Theresa Statz-Smith, Keynote Speaker
Theresa Statz-Smith became the Executive Director of Long Island Arts Alliance (LIAA) in 2010 following a 26-year career in public television journalism and as an Emmy Award-winning producer of cultural arts programs. Theresa joined LIAA board members in a targeted effort to renew and rebuild the Alliance to better serve the arts and arts education communities. In just five years, the Alliance has successfully built upon its core arts education programs and launched the first island-wide collaborative effort to celebrate the region’s arts, culture, and community.
