YOU CAN DO IT!
New Year's resolutions are made with the best intention. Unfortunately, for various reasons the determination to change can fade and those goals and resolutions are quickly forgotten. A few of the most popular resolutions involve weight loss or exercise. The WCA Group Health Trust (GHT) is offering an extra incentive to its members. The Resolution Recharge challenge is a six-week weight loss challenge and will begin February 4. Any GHT member can participate. Excess weight can have an adverse effect on a person's health and well being. Losing excess weight can offer many  benefits  including better moods, higher quality sleep, less joint pain, clearer skin and stress relief. Weight loss can also help fight the effects of many chronic diseases. Are you ready to start feeling the benefits of weight loss? 

It is our goal that this challenge will provide those that want to lose weight some extra incentive. There is no way to monitor the accuracy and truthfulness of the results submitted. Please be honest to make this competition fun and fair for everyone participating.

Who can participate:  Any GHT member. Participants must be at least 16 years old.

HOW IT WORKS
February 4
To get started weigh yourself, record your weight on either this tracker  or any other method you prefer.

February 11
Weigh yourself, record your weight and the number of pounds you lost in your tracker.

February 18
Weigh yourself, record your weight and the number of pounds you lost in your tracker. 

February 25
Weigh yourself, record your weight and the number of pounds you lost.  Report your progress by filling out this form: Progress Report. Please note this form will not be available until February 25. To be eligible for the prize drawing please submit your progress report by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28. Anyone reporting their progress will be entered in a drawing for prizes.

March 4
Weigh yourself, record your weight and the number of pounds you lost in your tracker.

March 11
Weigh yourself, record your weight and the number of pounds you lost in your tracker.

March 18
Weigh yourself, record your weight and the number of pounds you lost. Report your final results. More details will follow.

PRIZES
Report your progress: After three weeks any participant that reports results will be entered in a drawing. Then again at the end of the challenge anyone that has reported all six weeks will be entered in a drawing. Participants can win more than once! Even if you didn't lose weight, be sure to report for prize eligibility.
 
Biggest loser: Those that report the largest weight loss percentage will receive prizes. In the case of a tie, the winner will be determined by a random drawing.
