January 2018
WINTER BLAST AT THE SCIENCE CENTER
During the holidays, over 50 children joined us for STEM camp at the Science Center.  As part of the chilly "Winter Blast" camp, children participated in lots of frosty activities, including: making snowflakes, painting the Northern Lights, building an igloo, reading about sled dogs (and some other "cool animals" from the north), learning about the science of a cube (ice cube, that is), and making s'mores.  We had an exciting winter break at the Science Center and took the children on a mittens-on voyage into the science of winter!
