GO BULLDOGS!
The Lady Bulldogs traveled to the Stamford home of powerhouse rivals the King School Vikings  on Tuesday Afternoon. What they did by days end was nothing short of spectacular!!!!
They avenged Coach Lasky's worst defeat as a Coach, last years 35-11 drubbing by the Vikings.
The Pack was led by the tremendous leadership and poise of the backcourt. Cayla Furnari (6pts) and Sammy Farrar (14 pts) were OUTSTANDING all afternoon combining for 20 points and controlling the tempo through out.
Sara Rohan busted out for 8 points...keeping the team focused all day and had a perfect second half from the field.
Caroline Mancini added 4 points and stays poised to continue her excellent play all season long.
Katherine Gervolino shined on both ends of the floor. Leading the way with 11 rebounds and 7 assists.  Coach Lasky later said it was the most selfless game of basketball he's ever seen by a young lady.
Julia Sara, Juju Lanagna, Abby Craco and Marina McGuinness helped hold the Vikings to only 2 first half field goals, as the Bulldogs led 24-4 at the half and never looked back.

Congratulations Lady Bulldogs!!!!
Something special is happening...be a part of it...

We hope to see you at our Open House on Sunday. Please invite friends and family to explore St. Aloysius School. Teachers and staff will be available to welcome prospective families and discuss our curriculum and activities. The Book Fair will also be open on Sunday.

We are looking forward to our Science Fair on Thursday,

STEM Project Speeds First Grade Fun
Armed with yards of marble track (really pipe covering), toothpicks and marbles, Mrs. Phillips, inspired First Graders to design a raceway that would send a marble speeding through a 360-degree loop.

As the class raced to realize their design, amid the shouting, constructing and marble chasing, Mrs. Phillips focused First Graders thinking, encouraged cooperation, and demonstrated how STEM can energize learning.

Thrilled with the First Graders' efforts, Mrs. Phillips pointed to their cooperation, creativity and on-task behavior as the true prize of the afternoon's STEM session.
