Cynthia has asked that we share how she and her family felt about her dad:

We are heartbroken. We are devastated, and appreciate everyone who has reached out to us. We lost an absolute angel and heaven has gained the best angel they could ever have. We are all beyond blessed and better people from the life of this wonderful man. He was the dad everyone deserves and hopes for. He never judged, he always had open arms with shoulders to cry on, or to carry you through the hard times when you didn't think you could make it. Everyone came before himself, he gave when most think they have no more to give, and he saw all people as children of God worthy of deep love and kindness. He didn't make unkept promises or say words without follow-up. He showed up for every single person who needed him despite what he had to go through to get there to help. He loved with all his heart and soul. May we all carry my dad's memory forward - tell his stories, talk about him all you can, remember him and what he did for everyone daily, and may we all work harder to love deeper and unconditionally just as he did. May we all live a life as worthy as my dad and may we carry his love onward in everything we do.

We ask that you keep Cynthia and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time of great loss.
