Town of Georgina at 2018 North American International Motorcycle Supershow.Motorcycle
Over this past weekend, Town of Georgina staff and volunteers were at the North American International Motorcycle Supershow located at the International Centre Toronto. The Georgina Motorcycle Ride was being promoted along with tourism material, BIA brochures and much more. 
With over 500  exhibitors and over 1,000 motorcycles on display, the Motorcycle Supershow has firmly established itself as the pinnacle of North American motorcycle shows. The Motorcycle Supershow consistently pulls in over 50,000 attendees, who come to shop, and explore new locations to ride. With 52 km of Lake Simcoe Shoreline, Georgina is the place to visit.

-  Who is Central Counties Tourism and What Do they Do?

Along the way, there will discussions and exercises that will help participants understand how tourism can positively impact their community or business, and identify the tourism opportunities around them.

Uptown Keswick Annual General Meeting January 11th, 2018.UKBIAAGM
The Uptown Keswick Business Improvement Association (UKBIA) is hosting their 2018 Annual General Meeting. If you are a member of the Uptown Keswick BIA (UKBIA) you are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the UKBIA and find out what is planned for 2018 and vote on the approval of the 2018 Annual Budget.

Once this budget is approved by the membership, the budget will be presented to Town Council for final approval. Upon receiving Council approval this budget amount will be used to determine the tax levy that will be applied to all members of the UKBIA. Should you wish to review any additional information regarding Business Improvement Areas, The Ministry of Municipal Affairs BIA handbook is available online at  www.Ontario.ca/BIAhandbook .

Lake Simcoe Arms Before and After Facade enhancements.

A Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is intended to improve a defined area within a community that has been identified as in need of revitalization. The CIP articulates a vision for Uptown Keswick, Downtown Sutton and Downtown Jackson's Point.

Economic Development Community Building Grant Application.communitybetter

The objective of the grant program is to provide financial assistance for programs and events that serve to promote the Town of Georgina to markets outside Georgina, generate economic opportunities for the local business community and provide for the betterment of the Community. In order to take full advantage of the collaborative marketing efforts provided by the Economic Development & Tourism Division, applications should be submitted six (6) months prior to the event date. Georgina's annual winter carnival takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and offers inflatables, games, KidsWorld, giveaways, live performances, dogsledding and more.
