For those who are not familiar, Friend In Need was developed 15 years ago and is a local non-profit organization with a mission to support friends and family within Cape May County who are hit with financial hardship due to sudden and severe illnesses. In the past 15 years, Friend In Need has assisted more than 100 families and close friends and we encourage you to join us in supporting this great event!

The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with several local businesses, is excited to announce plans for our 8th Annual Stone Harbor Shhhiiver Polar Plunge. This fun-filled, worthy event is our first of 2018 and will be held on St. Patrick's Day - Saturday, March 17.
 
Proceeds from this year's Shhhiiver will support both the SH Chamber of Commerce and
 
Support this year's Shiver! Whether you're "cleansing" away your worries and dipping in the ocean solo - or dressing up, dancing and plunging with your favorite "peeps," we appreciate your participation! NEW THIS YEAR - become a "Friend of Shiver" and add your name or your family's name to our "POT OF GOLD," on display Friday & Saturday.  
 
On Friday, March 16, the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor hosts at Pre-Plunge Party and Fundraiser. Cost is $20 per person, including a dinner buffet and cash bar. Attendees can pick up their Shhhiver registration swag or sign up for the event. There is an amazing ticketed auction and live auction with so many fantastic items from many of our local businesses- both contribute greatly to our fundraising.
