On our Legal Aid Day at the legislature, we will bring volunteers from legal aid organizations throughout the state to Sacramento to educate legislators about the great work you do for their constituents. With the decreasing number of legislators who are lawyers, it is more important than ever that we communicate how critical your services are in your community.

LAAC is working with the Justice in Government Project to help open up new sources of funding for services to your clients. This is a continuation of our successful work to open up the Victims of Crime Act funding for legal aid.
