US Paralympian, Brittani Coury addressed the Durango Professional Women's Network last month (which FCCB proudly sponsors), just weeks before leaving for the Winter Paralympic Games in PyeongChang, South Korea. A local and lifelong snowboarding enthusiast, Brittani suffered an ankle injury while snowboarding that led to multiple surgeries, years of painful rehabilitation, and eventually to amputation, halting her ability to pursue her passion. That is, until she decided to take a chance, and get back on the snow as an amputee. She
is currently ranked as the leading female in the U.S. in her category and a podium contender in boardercross and banked slalom.
