Church Retreat
Christ in the Room:  Redefining the Space of our Lives
Reserve your space now for the 2018 First Presbyterian Church Retreat in the Blue Ridge mountains of NC! We will be heading to Kanuga Conference Center in Hendersonville the weekend of March 9-11, 2018.  Join your church family for a weekend filled with worship, fellowship, great food, and fun activities for all ages. Our retreat will be led by a team from In Christ Supporting Ministries, who will lead us into new insights about the ways Christ redefines our daily lives and frees us to participate in God's work of ministry. Wednesday Night Fellowship
Please join us for Wednesday Night Fellowship throughout January and into February as we hear from several missional community organizations about their important work and how we can partner with them.  On January 17th, we welcome representatives from Lily Pad Haven to hear about how they are responding to the human trafficking crisis in Charlotte.  Please make your reservations by noon Monday.  
Menu:  meat loaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, fruit, salad, dessert.

  Help us as we worship! Sign up  here to be a lay reader to share God's word with us in worship as you read scripture on Sundays. Materials and information will be sent to you for the week that you sign up.
  Help us as we learn! Sign up  here to help support the great work of our Sunday School teachers and be a shepherd in our Elementary, Middle School, and High School Sunday School classrooms.
  Help us as we grow! Sign up  here to help teach our children about faithful worship during Children's Church. As you sign up for this important ministry, rest assured that an easy to follow curriculum and lesson supplies are already in place for you.
Sanctuary Flowers
Flowers in the sanctuary beautify our worship space and elevate our spirit of praise. To give the congregation a gift of sanctuary flowers, please click here to sign up for one or more Sundays during the year.  Flowers can be arranged by local florists, or members can design their own arrangements. To maintain proper size, urns are available at the church for sanctuary flowers. Note that on communion Sundays (typically the first Sunday of the month), two smaller side arrangements are used in lieu of the central one used on other Sundays.
