Have You Completed HFMA's Survey?
Each year HFMA national wants to know how well each chapter is doing at providing value to their members. On behalf of the board and officers of HFMA Philadelphia, we ask that you take some time and provide feedback through this survey. Keep an eye out for an email from HFMA national in your inbox.

We have listened to your past suggestions sent in via the survey and in response over this past year we have:
  • Introduced a new chapter website
  • Optimized email communications
  • Increased speaking engagements related to payor and physician topics
  • Offered more opportunities to engage early careerists including a Health Care 101 seminar and enhancements to our mentoring program
  • Hosted webinar-based 'Lunch and Learn' series making access to sessions even easier
We are eager to hear your feedback and continue to improve! If you have any questions, want to provide additional feedback to chapter leadership, or get involved with a committee, please contact: news@hfmaphila.org

Thank you in advance for your participation in the survey and we look forward to seeing you at an upcoming event

Session: Patient Cost Estimation
CHOP (Betsy Duffy, Franco Cardillo, Alyssa Vasquez)

The session will describe how CHOP is able to provide liability estimates to patients prior to service. CHOP has implemented technology that determines out of pocket expenses and allows the organization to educate their patients and families prior to the service. Families are offered an opportunity to know and understand the amount they have paid towards their cost share to date, and how to monitor their benefit accumulations moving forward, avoiding any surprise bills
