The heart behind Documented Faith 2018’s theme is “Yes & Amen"

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."
  2 Corinthians 1:20

Week 5  1/28 – 2/3

God promises that all things will work out for good for His children

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 NIV

NIV NOTES: God works in all things. This does not mean that all that happens to us is good. Evil is prevalent in our fallen and broken world but God is able to turn every circumstance around for good. God is NOT working to make us happy but to fulfill HIS purpose.

Q: What is Documented Faith Mixed Media Monthly.

A: The Mixed Media Monthly concept is a way to "step it up a notch" and is something more than just reading a verse in your weekly email. I see it as a collaboration of sorts and an example of what happens when art & faith collide. All of the art, ideas and verses for each month will be provided via and YOU put it into action by downloading, printing, cutting, gluing and creating...OR simply downloading, printing, trimming and sharing.

To read about this and get the $52.00 price for THE ENTIRE YEAR ( that's 1.00 a week people!) go here: Documented Faith Mixed Media Monthly

I love that so many are "getting it" by taking what I am creatively offering in the form of PDF Downloads along with a few of my own ideas and inspiration and then creating just the they create!
Here is a look at a few of the awesome cards being created by some of the ladies enrolled. If you are already participating, make sure to add your photos to the DF Mixed Media Monthly FB Group so that I can see and share!
There are several retreats planned for 2018 and I would love for you to join us. Click the links below to read about the individual retreats and be sure to check the blog for upcoming announcements.

The Core Purpose of Documented Faith

It is not about religion. It is about a personal relationship with Jesus.
It is about developing the habit of spending time reflecting, reading, worshiping, learning and memorizing God’s word in a creative way.
Documented Faith was created to remind, encourage and inspire each other to record, illustrate, document and journal our everyday moments, how God is working in us and through us, what Bible verses speak to us and how they apply to our situations, reminders and inspirational quotes and most importantly, how our relationship with Jesus and with others is growing.
*There is no start date, no finish date, no right way or wrong way to do it...just the gentle, persistent encouragement in the way of an email with a verse that lands in your inbox once a week.

The Nicene Creed
We believe in one God,the Father, the Almighty maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father,God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father.
Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven:by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried.On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
Amen.

*The reference to "the holy catholic Church" in both the Nicene and Apostle's Creeds refers
to the universal church, not the denomination.
