A NEW HOME FOR LOWER SCHOOL
Last week, Lower School families explored their temporary new home at Girls Inc. of Greater Santa Barbara. This week, they made it their own. Enjoy the above video from last Friday's Open House.
Due to the unusual circumstances of the recent disaster and the disruption it has caused within our community, the re-enrollment calendar has been pushed back by one week. Re-enrollment contracts will now be mailed on Friday, February 2 instead of tomorrow, January 26. The contracts will now be due on February 16 instead of February 9.
SCORE! KELLY BICKETT LEADS SOCCER TEAM TO VICTORY
Congratulations to Kelly Bickett '18 who was recognized as honorable mention Athlete of the Week by the SB Athletic Round Table for her five-goal performance in a 6-2 win over Bishop Diego on 1/17.

Kelly scored big again at Dunn on 1/24, tallying three goals in a 5-0 Condor League win.
BRAVO TO THE CAST & CREW OF RUMORS
Last week, Laguna’s Theatre Arts Department proudly presented three performances of Neil Simon's play, Rumors. Head of School Rob Hereford expresses his appreciation to the cast, crew, production team, and LBS community --

"Saturday I had the opportunity to see the amazing production of Rumors . As always, I was so impressed with the work that our cast and crew shared with us under Dana’s direction. The experience of sitting and laughing along with the audience while also pausing to admire the craft of the individual performances was such a welcome distraction from our recent hardships. The group’s achievement was even more impressive considering the disruptions in rehearsal schedules. Thank you to the cast and crew, Dana Caldwell, and the Ensemble Theater for a great show!"

A minimum donation of $20 per t-shirt is appreciated. All proceeds will go to Direct Relief International to benefit victims of the Thomas fire and Montecito mudslide.

Click here to directly help victims of the Montecito mudslide through donating new or unused clothing, gift cards, and other items needed by these families.
GIVING BACK TO THOSE WHO GIVE BACK
Since the Thomas fire began on December 4, Los Arroyos Restaurant has been providing complimentary meals to first responders from all four of their locations (Downtown Santa Barbara, Goleta, Camarillo, and Montecito).

After the Montecito mudslide, they continued to serve first responders from all locations except for the one on Coast Village Road, which was closed due to the mudslide. As their Montecito location has the most employees and creates the most volume of all of their restaurants, its closure has been especially difficult for the Arroyos family.

Though the Coast Village Road location is not slated to open for another 2-3 weeks, Los Arroyos' other three locations, as well as their catering service, are still open for business! Let's come together to support Los Arroyos as they have been supporting the first responders who have tirelessly protected our community during these trying times.
