Completed FY2017 Audit Shows Increased Private Giving
Thank you!
KGOU has just completed the annual financial audit conducted by an independent auditing firm, a requirement to receive funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. For the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2017, private giving from individual donors and local businesses totaled more than $1.1 million.

Donations increased nearly 11 percent and business underwriting increased 12 percent, offsetting the decrease in state funding for KGOU. Thanks to our generous donors and loyal underwriters, it was a great year -- you came through for KGOU! More highlights are in the audit report:

Following the footsteps of The Diane Rehm Show, 1A and host Joshua Johnson had big shoes to fill -- and high expectations from listeners. After a year on the job, 1A staffers look back on their favorite interviews, which we hope inspire some good memories for listeners, too.
