OWTS Operations & Maintenance Training- Level 1
You're invited to our upcoming training for OWTS Operation & Maintenance Course Level 1. This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills and receive COWA/NAWT accredited CEUs!
This two-day course is an overview that covers the following material:
- Wastewater characteristics
- Tools of the trade
- Business and ethics
- Wastewater math
- Gravity and low-pressure pipe distribution
- Safety
- Pumps
- Demand dosing
You will also get a preview of technologies detailed in O&M 2 including:
- Aerobic treatment units
- Recirculating media filters
- Disinfection and drip dispersal
A math homework assignment given at the end of day 1 will be reviewed at the start of day 2.
Prerequisite: COWA/NAWT OWTS Inspector Course Recommended.
