For decades,  Bais Yaakov of Baltimore has been blessed with
S'yata d'Shmaya and success, in great measure resulting from the synergy created by the selfless efforts of parents, teachers, and supporters, who are all collectively committed to the future of  Klal Yisroel , our Jewish nation.  From the moment a girl enters the portals of Bais Yaakov she is embraced by a steadfast commitment to her personal and academic growth.  Our dedicated staff helps each child realize her dreams by providing her with a high-quality education and individualized tools to flourish, giving every child an opportunity to shine.

At this year's dinner we will honor those who embody the values and commitment to the goals and ideals of Bais Yaakov.  Our esteemed Avodas HaKodesh Awardees, Rabbi Zalman and Mrs. Shifra Nissel, have played an active and most integral role in Bais Yaakov for well over 23 years, serving in various roles as proud alumna, parents, Board and Vaad HaChinuch Member, and for the past 13 years as Bais Yaakov's tirelessly devoted Chief Executive, effectively running the school's business operations.  It is under Rabbi Nissel's impassioned leadership that the Smith Avenue Campus Expansion Project is progressing so well, Baruch Hashem.

This year's dinner is also an opportunity for our Bais Yaakov family to honor the memory of our long time beloved Elementary School Principal, Rabbi Mendel D. Freedman, z"l, as we dedicate The Rabbi Mendel D. Freedman, z"l, Elementary School Building.  Rabbi Freedman, our Menahel for over 37 years, gave over so much of his being and love to each student who passed through the halls of our school.  Students, parents, and teachers all share how he infused the school and their neshamos with a warmth for Yiddishkeit.

Additionally, we will be Paying Special Tribute to Mrs. Esther Tendler, a"h.  Over the decades as a nurse in Bais Yaakov Elementary School, she came into contact with thousands of young girls and treated everyone calmly, with patience and love.  Her optimistic attitude was infectious and helped create a unique atmosphere which left an indelible impression on all those she interacted with.

Please join us on Wednesday evening, March 7, 2018 to celebrate Bais Yaakov's 76th Anniversary Dinner at Beth Tefiloh - Sagner Auditorium.  Your generous response and message of support will be a source of encouragement for the school.  Be a partner in our work and enjoy the nachas that everyone in the Bais Yaakov family so richly deserves!
