GET REAL-TIME ALERTS DURING EMERGENCIES IN PASADENA
Major disasters can happen at anytime. Stay informed about outages, fires, evacuations and other emergencies that may affect the community by signing up for the Pasadena Local Emergency Alert System (PLEAS). Register important addresses in Pasadena such as your home, work, or school and receive a message when those areas are being affected by an emergency.

Choose your preferred delivery method by selecting: phone calls, text messages, or emails. All contact information registered with PLEAS is secure and will never be used except to provide critical emergency information or other urgent information.
PWP INCREASES HEAT PUMP REBATE - SAVE AN EXTRA $70
Electric heat pumps provide an energy-efficient solution to both your heating and cooling needs. Heat pumps use electricity to move heat from one space to another, acting as a furnace during cooler months and as an air conditioner during warmer months.

PWP has recently increased the heat pump rebate incentive from $80 to $150 per ton. Customers who purchase the unit in Pasadena will also get a $20 per ton bonus. Submit your rebate documents easily with PWP's new online rebate portal!

POWER LINE SAFETY TIPS
Power lines can be dangerous, especially when they come into contact with another object. Avoid potential hazards with the following tips:

  • Mylar balloons contain a metallic coating that can be dangerous if they come in contact with power lines. If a balloon or toy is caught in a power line, contact PWP immediately at 626.744.4673.
  • Never attempt to trim a tree near a power line. If you see a tree branch or limb that is dangerously close to a power line, contact PWP at 626.744.7938.
  • Avoid touching anything, such as a car, object or equipment, or anyone who is in contact with a fallen power line. Instead, call 911 immediately for assistance.
