Ruth M. Congrove 1935 - 2018  

Ruth M. Congrove, 82, of Akron, passed away January 22, 2018.   Ruth was born June 15, 1935, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Alvin and Rose (nee Rindler) Congrove.

Ruth graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Education.   She taught elementary school in Parma, Copley, Fairlawn and Bath Revere.

Ruth was a member of Wadsworth Garden Club, Wadsworth Tennis Club, Organist, Choir Director, and Eucharistic minister at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.   She was a volunteer at Wadsworth Summa Hospital.

Ruth was preceded in death by her baby bother, Lawrence.

She is survived by her sister, MaryAnn Congrove, and numerous cousins.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Arden Courts of Bath and Heartland Hospice for their love and care for Ruth.

Family will receive friends 4-6 pm Sunday January 28, 2018, at the Hilliard Rospert funeral Home 174 N. Lyman St. Wadsworth, Ohio.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Monday, January 29, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 272 Broad St. Wadsworth, OH.   Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
