"Butts for the Bowl" 

      Planning a Super Bowl party or dinner?  Just feel like eating a delicious meal but not cooking on February 4?

       No matter the occasion, the Knights of Columba have you covered.  We are taking orders now for the 2018 "Butts for the Bowl" event.  We'll be smoking beautiful Boston Pork shoulders and packaging them in airtight buckets to preserve the juicy flavor.  One bottle of special BBQ sauce is included with each order of a full butt.

This year there are two options: 

OPTION #1:  You can order a delicious smoked Boston Butt Pork Roast that will be approximately 7-9 pounds each.  It will be cooked to perfection and packaged so all you have to do is heat and serve.  If your dinner is early in the day, you won't even have to heat it up - it will still be warm from the smoker.  Cost:  $45 each (the cost increases to $55 for any orders placed after 11:59 pm on Wednesday, January 31 - and orders will be taken only while supplies last).

OPTION #2:   If the whole roast is too large, you can order 1.5 pounds of pulled pork that will be ready to heat and serve.  As they pull the roasts off the smoker, they'll shred the pork and place it in individual containers with approximately 1.5 pounds of delicious smoked pork.  Cost:  $20.00 each (the cost increases to $25 for any orders placed after 1/31 - and orders will be taken only while supplies last).  Barbeque sauce is NOT included with this order, but it is available separately for an additional $5.

      Each order will be packaged in a sealed plastic container, with the roast wrapped in foil inside to hold in all the juices and flavor.  And, each order of a whole pork roast comes with a choice barbeque sauces:  a sweet/spicy barbeque sauce or a vinegar barbeque sauce.  If you purchase the pulled pork, you can purchase a bottle of barbeque sauce for an additional $5.

     You may pick up your order from St. Columba's Church between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on Sunday, February 4.  If you need a later pick up time, please call the parish office (770-888-4464 x 8001).  Orders placed after January 31 will have a higher price and we can only take orders after the January 31 deadline while supplies last.
