What Can My Neighborhood Group
Do For Me?
Dear Neighbors,
Our Ward has the decided advantage of established neighborhood groups.  Back when our community was less developed,  Lincoln Park and Gold Coast neighbors organized into important voices for safety, park enhancements, school improvements and beneficial development.  When re-mapping threatened to fragment the 43rd Ward and dilute your voice, the community groups demonstrated an impressive show of strength and solidarity to keep our Ward intact.  Today, our community groups are backing the fight for real park space in the North Branch Corridor. The fact is, neighborhood groups have been involved in every important improvement and decision in our neighborhoods for decades.

If you've never considered joining your community group, I invite you to learn more.  If you're not sure in which community area you live, check the below map.

Four of our neighborhood groups have upcoming annual meetings  This is a good opportunity to check them out and see how you can get involved, or lend your support by simply becoming a member.
