It is great to be back on our home campus and watch the continuous progress of restoration.  The classrooms are fully functional and your children are enjoying their bright new spaces.  Soon the casework for the office, faculty room, and library will be finished which will go a long way toward normalizing things for teachers and administration. Our younger students were very excited to watch the playground equipment being delivered today. Unfortunately, the upcoming rain storm will delay its installation for a bit.  I know many of our students will be thrilled to have the library back.  We will need to move some of the library boxes from the gym on Friday.  Please call the office if you can help.

 

The national celebration of Catholic Schools' Week kicks off this Sunday.  Our school will begin our celebration at the 9:00 AM Mass at St. Rose Parish on Sunday.  It is very important that our school families and students make a strong showing at this Mass.  We will be using this opportunity to thank our parishioners for the generosity and hospitality they have extended to us for the past three months.   Please make every effort to attend.  The Parent Association will be serving a continental breakfast directly after Mass in the parish hall - - another opportunity for us to reconnect and enjoy each other's company.

Our annual open house for parents will be held next Thursday evening, February 1 ^st from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.  This will be your opportunity as parents to socialize with each other as you tour the school and see the all of the many lovely improvements that have been made.

 

Yesterday's celebration was truly a joyous one and I was happy that so many of you were able to attend.  Thank you to all of the parents who worked so hard to make this a fun event for your children.  It was great to be together again.
