New Client Surge in 2017 Victor Awarded Little Minds Learning Center in Naperville Thanks to the efforts of Victors new PM Mark Riedy, we were awarded a ground-up project for new clients North Star Realty and Little Minds Learning Center in Naperville! Little Minds offers premiere and affordable childcare and education for children six weeks to six years old. Keeping parents in mind, Little Minds stressed the importance of quality craftsmanship so the look and feel of their newest location meet high standards. Despite some very cold winter conditions, Victor is working hard to ensure a timely and cost-effective project. Construction is already underway, and will continue through 2018. Victors 5th (and Largest) Project for Legoland Café Remodel Finally, we continue our work with a long-time client Legoland! The Schaumburg Legoland is receiving a much needed renovation to its café and event spaces. Victor is leading the charge on a full-scale makeover that includes updates to millwork and flooring finishes, new and improved lighting design, and the installation of an in-store Starbucks ( for adult visitors.) Victor has been especially conscientious of site safety, keeping construction behind a locked door when guests (both young and old) are present. Site Superintendent Sam Whitaker has done a great job maintain a secure site, and our crew has received high praise from Legoland. This project was won in partnership with 845 Design Group, another previous Victor collaborator. Construction will wrap up in late January/early February 2018. Read More>>>> |

Elizabeth Schuttler Named BOMA Associate of the Year and WINS Daily Herald Cooking Contest Have you noticed we often feature Business Development lead Elizabeth Schuttler? Well, she had a banner year on both the personal and professional front so we cant help but share her accomplishments once more. Wrapping up 2017 in a big way, Elizabeth was named BOMA Suburban Chicagos Associate of the year! We're proud of all the hard work she's done for Victor in 2017, and her strong presence in BOMA no doubt helped in our amazing end of year client growth. Read more about BOMAs end of year awards here. In addition to this, Elizabeth won the won the Daily Herald Cook of the Year contest for 2017! The entire Victor Construction team (along with an army of friends, family, business associates, and most of Inverness), came out to support Elizabeth as she went head head-to-head in a live final four cook-off event. The chefs were given their ingredients a few hours before cook time, were tasked with creating a recipe on the spot using those ingredients, and then had 1 hour to cook. The competition was steep and presided over by past Iron Chef and Master Chef judges and contestants. All four contestants received high praise for their dishes, but Elizabeth won the day with her innovative use of the required ingredients.
