People don't like deadlines, but they work! Whether we like them or not, deadlines are important; it important that you do your best to meet them. Institutions and individuals need structure to maintain organizations and deliver services. Deadlines help provide that structure.
- Care about deadlines. You have to be serious about meeting deadlines and make them a priority.
- Check often to know what's due and when. Make sure you know when deadlines are.
- Understand that there are consequences for not meeting deadlines. Don't wait until the last minute.
- Deadlines help you manage your time. They are the best friend you never knew you wanted.
