This Senate bill, along with its House companion HB167 had passed all the other assigned committees unanimously. Human trafficking survivors, advocates and prosecutors came repeatedly to Tallahassee to testify to the unspeakable crimes that have been occurring in the state's hotels and motels. Some of the hearings were wrenching. So what happened?

Eight other states have pending requests ... "

We're asking advocates to call on the Senate and House Agriculture Committees to strengthen and protect SNAP in the upcoming Farm Bill. Thunderclap is a platform that allows social media users to share the same message at the same time to create a lot of noise around an issue. Think of it as a virtual rally where anyone with a Twitter or Facebook account can participate.
