Town Council Approves Funding for Design of Groins in Midtown Beaches
Palm Beach is allocating money for design and permitting of a roughly $3.6 million project to protect the Midtown Beach shoreline, but it's still unclear who will be footing the larger bill. The Town Council unanimously voted to approve about $189,000 for this stage of the project to get it ready for eventual construction.

About a month after the Lake Trail project was finished, residents and visitors are discovering and using the trail under the Flagler Memorial Bridge that connects Bradley Park to the Royal Poinciana Plaza.
The town is still crunching the final numbers, but the project appears to be about $50,000 under the $952,541 budget

Brightline is up and running to the frustration of many who live near the tracks. The reason? Quiet zones are not complete and may not be until the end of March. Without quiet zones, Brightline and freight train engineers have to start sounding the train horn at least 15 seconds before reaching all public crossings.

Now developer Jeff Greene, a Civic Association Director, wants to play tennis out of the heat and wind, so he plans to build an indoor tennis and health club next to the Greene School. It's still in the planning stages, and Greene's M-O is to sit on land a long time before building but tennis is a big motivator. He's even talked to Venus Williams about designing it, he said.
