The three day week was truly a "blink" as our students (once again) got only a partial school week! Our teachers and students have started preparing for and are becoming excited for one of the most enjoyable and celebratory weeks of the year...
Catholic Schools Week 2018!
Please make certain to familiarize yourself with each day's activities/assemblies, themed dress down days and opportunities to demonstrate service and generosity, as we collect various items for those in need.
A new edition to Catholic Schools Week is an exciting and fun opportunity for our school to generate funds while being physically active! All of our students (whether they are able to obtain pledges for laps or not), will participate in a super fun Glow Run on Wednesday, January 31st. Information regarding this fundraiser has been put forth in the newsletter for a few weeks now, and as the event draws near, more details will be shared. The main purpose of the event is to have fun and be active as a school family. Raising money for our school while doing so is a bonus! We are hoping to raise enough money to not only increase our technology, but to also initiate our fundraising efforts and Call of the Heart 2018 for a new playground that is safe for our students. The Fun Run will also be an unexpected opportunity for families to decrease their Family Fundraising Obligation!
If you have not done so already, I encourage you to take the time to complete the re-registration process by making any necessary corrections on the forms sent home, and return them to school with your $100 registration fee. Next Sunday the 28th we will be opening our doors to new potential families for tours and registration. While much of our traffic consists of potential preschool and kindergarten students, we have received several calls regarding openings in other grades. Please make sure to secure you spot, or notify us of a non-return situation, so we are able to gauge our openings for the 2018-2019 school year.
Have a wonderful weekend and God bless!
