Confirmation Class 2018
We Leave for Friday on at 4:00p
The time has come for us to begin the 2018 Confirmation Class.  We have 7 students registered this year and we are super excited for these students to get to know each other at this retreat.  We will leave at 4pm on Friday and head to Warren Willis.  We will stop for dinner at Chick-fil-a on the way.

Each students needs to have a Warren Willis Camp form filled out.  You can get it here.

If you would like a Confirmation Retreat Checklist and schedule get it here.

Finally if your student has never been on a trip with the student ministry before they are going to need an Emergency Release Form. They will also need to be notarized. Both Ms. Suzi (Children's minister) and Ms. Ronnie (Church Administrator) can notarize the form during office hours; M-Th 9a-3p.

If you have already paid your $25 retreat payment, thank you very much.  If not, you can turn give it to the office or Tony at any time.

Classes will be held on Wednesdays from 4:30p to 5:30p.  We can try to coordinate rides if you need. Please let Tony know if you need help.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Thank you to all of you who came to help spread dirt in Ms. Jessica's backyard at the 2nd Sunday Super Service Surprise earlier this month.  Because you signed up at the All for Good site, we were awarded 5 tickets from Disney that we can now use for our upcoming Silent Auction.

We have an opportunity to once again earn hours towards more tickets for the auction.  On March 14th, students have the opportunity to serve those who are hungry and homeless at the Bridge of Hope Hot Meal Program.   If your students is interested in working this project, you can sign up but clicking on the link below. The project will go from 8:30a-1:30p.

Spring Break Day Options
So we have a couple things that we can do during spring break to get out of the house.  If you're in town have you and your student join us.
  • Sunday March 11th is the 2nd Sunday Super Surprise.  It's from 3p-8:30p  Parents MUST there to drop off your students because you will need to fill out the organization's waiver.  You also have the option to come to Tony's office to fill out one there.  (We're trying to avoid sending forms home with the students so that they are not keen to what the surprise is.)
  • Monday March 12th.  Pokemon Go Raiding Party 9a-1p.  For those of us who play Pokemon Go, we'll travel around town raiding some Pokemon Gyms and Legendary pokemon.  Save up your coins cause you're going to need to purchase some extra raid passes.
  • Tuesday March 13th.  Lunch and a Movie.  We are going to see a $6 film and lunch at Panda Express.  Times TBA.
  • Wednesday March 14th. Bridge of Hope Hot Meal Service Project.  8:30a-2:00p  See below for more information on that.
  • Thursday March 15th.  We are playing Disc Golf at Reed Canal Park from 10a to 2p. We will supply some discs for you to play with.  It will be a great time for the beginner or the expert.
Register for Summer Camp
It's time to register for the 2018 Summer Camp.  Our parents have voted to attend the week of June 18th through the 24th, (AKA Week 2).  There is a $75 Online Registration Fee which comes off the cost of your students camp when you register online.  They receive graduating 3rd graders through graduating 12th graders.  You can also apply for a camp scholarship through April 1st at the link previously mentioned.  Register for camp with the button below.
