"How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate
our heroes and she-roes!" - Maya Angelou, poet

What a great quote to kick off Women's History Month and to share more details about California Women Lead's upcoming Women's Conference. This conference is truly a celebration of what women can do we when we work together. This is a two-day, action packed conference will leave you inspired and committed to your leadership journey as well as give you opportunities to network with other fabulous women from throughout the state.

One of the highlights of the conference, and one of my FAVORITE events California Women Lead hosts, is our reception honoring women serving in appointed office in the state. I love this event because often times women in appointed office are overlooked. This conference is packed with strong women leaders who are serving in appointed office and we are proud to recognize their contribution to California and the success of our state. This reception will be a highlight of the conference as we honor she-roes who are great examples of what women leaders can do. If you cannot attend the entire conference, we are making a limited number of reception only tickets available. Be sure to visit our website for more information and to purchase your ticket today! But, if you attend the entire conference, your reception ticket is included!!

I hope you will take a moment and visit our conference website. You can read the bios of speakers and presenters, learn more about the breakout sessions being offered and get information on how you can attended what I know will be an inspirational two days!
