NJ Legislature Seeks Public Comment on Fiscal Year 2019 State Budget

The Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee and the Assembly Budget Committee will be conducting their respective public hearings at four regional locations over the next three weeks. If you wish to comment, online registration is required.

In addition to the general public hearings, all New Jersey State Departments have their respective departmental budget hearing before both the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee and the Assembly Budget Committee. The New Jersey Department of Education /Schools Development Authority will appear before the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee on April 17 at 1:30pm and before the Assembly Budget Committee on April 23 at 10:00 am.

School Administrator Mentor Training Program

All participants in the NJASA Mentor Training Program must:
  • Have a minimum of five years exemplary service under the NJ School Administrator endorsement. That means serving as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, or director in NJ, with a positive influence on student achievement, use of data-based decision making, and commitment to student success;
  • Be willing and able to provide personal time and attention to resident school administrators; and
  • Have been engaged in NJ schools for at least three of the past five years 
Visit the Sites of the Holocaust
Former NJSBOE President and Commission Member on Holocaust/Genocide Education Maud Dahme invites you to join her from July 18 to August 2 to visit the sites of the Holocaust.
